So, what is everyone's favorite NES Game?
Megaman? Super Mario? Kid Icarus? Metroid? Others?
    Take your pick!!

My personal Favorite would probably be Kirby's Adventure lol!

I'd have to say that my favorite NES game is Mega Man II. I got to the point where I could beat it in an hour without dying, going through the levels in any order. I seem to have lost the ability to not die in the 20 years since, however.

Mega Man III is probably a better game overall, but it gets annoyingly long toward the end, with the extra long, extra hard versions of four of the stages with the bosses from Mega Man II that have been altered just enough that my tediously perfected strategies don't work. Mega Men IV through VI suffer similarly, each featuring eight levels after the first eight, your progress through which cannot be saved with a password.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is good, but it's length and complexity didn't mesh well with its lack of a save or password feature in its original incarnation. Works much better as a ROM, or on the Wii.

MC Kids is surprisingly good for a McDonalds tie-in, and it politely doesn't bash you over the head with McDonalds products. Can you imagine how bad a McDonalds game made in today's video game environment would be?

I like Kirby's Adventure. It's pretty easy, but it's fun.

The fact that someone else has actually played McKids fills me with joy,

Heh heh, I'd have to agree with you on Megaman II Mat, it was defiantly my favorite out of the lot (NES-wise) but unlike most, I've always failed at Megaman side-scroller games, even if I do love em' to death!
Megaman III pushed the difficultly of the stages to a new level for me, but the bosses, I dunno, seemed easier, but, II still remains my personal favorite

I've never played McKids, but I feel the urge to now I've heard a bit about it.

Just for the record, I subscribed to Nintendo Power when the game came out, and the magazine informed me that the title was pronounced "Em See Kids." Additionally, if you look at the title screen, the name of the game is spelled "M.C. Kids." So as odd as it may be for a McDonalds thing to not start with Mc... yeah.

That's pretty hard to say man...I'd choose River City Ransom as one of my favorites, but its just a one of the many I enjoy. And I enjoy the whole Nekketsu series also (River City Ransom but with sports if you can imagine it)

I was mainly hooked on Contra, Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers, the Super Mario Bros. series, and an odd little gem called Orb 3D.
